Master of European Studies
The program brings together and upgrades the knowledge of undergraduate social science programs, applying them to political, economic and socio-cultural relations and processes in Europe, especially in the EU. It also enables linking European policies with natural sciences such as energy, agriculture, the environment and industry, particularly in the context of Jean Monnet's activities. The study program is based on employment needs: regularly following current events in reliable international sources, applying theory in research and analysis, advanced scientific writing and research communication, practicing negotiation skills and foreign languages in a multicultural and e-environment, group participation and creative problem-solving. The program includes engagement in practical training by taking field trips, participating in compulsory internships and listening to guest lecturers. The program also contains many elective subjects. Employers generally value graduates' ability to connect and engage in interdisciplinary work. Graduates of European Studies can find employment in executive and decision-making public institutions at all levels of government - from local to global, export and transnational companies, professional NGOs and science, or become highly successful self-employees.
Candidates who has not finished their BA programme from the fields of european studies/international relations, can enroll in the Spring Seminar, which enables them to continue their studies in the Master of European Studies.
