    The journal Teorija in praksa is the longest running published interdisciplinary journal of social sciences in Slovenia. The journal was founded by the Faculty of Social Sciences, University of Ljubljana, in 1964. The journal Teorija in praksa has been a central Slovenian scientific publication in the field of political science, sociology, journalism and media studies, defence, communication and cultural studies.

All submitted manuscripts to Teorija in praksa are subject to a blind peer review proceeding, except book reviews.

Publishing Ethics

Teorija in praksa journal follows the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) Code of Conduct guidelines and the requirements for peer-reviewed journals, elaborated by the Elsevier Publishing House (in accordance with international ethical rules of scientific publications).

Teorija in praksa Journal is adopting these policies and procedures to support editors, reviewers and authors in performing their ethical duties under these guidelines.
It is expected of authors, reviewers and editors that they follow the best-practice guidelines on ethical behavior contained therein.

General terms and conditions for co-operation

The Author grants the Publisher of the Journal the non-exclusive and permanent substantive copyright for the published manuscript, in printed as well as the freely accessed electronic form including the graphic design and use of the manuscript in the framework of the portal of study literature of the Faculty of Social Sciences of the University of Ljubljana. The portal is accessible online to a closed circle of users – i.e. the students registered at the study programmes of the Faculty of Education during individual parts of their studies, and exclusively for educational purposes. The portal is closed in nature, and the access to and reading of the e-book record of the copyright work is only allowed with the conversion of unique identification. The printing of the copyright work is technically enabled only to a limited extent and in compliance with the guidances applying for foreign works on the portal. The aformentioned substantive copyright is non-transferable.
