Courses
10 day courses: Network Analysis using Pajek / Web surveys and forms: Methodological and practical aspects / Multivariate Analysis / Research Design and Implementation
5 day first term courses: Research Data Management, Access and Use of Secondary Data / Applied Mathematics with Probability /Data Visualisation in R
5 day second term courses: Network Community Detection / Logistic Regression / Event History Analysis
Fees
University of Ljubljana Ph.D. students can register for all options without paying the fee, since courses are offered as elective courses for all programs (please, consult Meta Gnidovec ).
All other students have to pay a course fee.
10 day courses: 27 June - 6 July 2016 = 900 €
5 day first term courses: 27 June - 1 July 2016 = 450 €
5 day second term courses: 2 July - 6 July 2016 = 450 €
All study fees include use of the Faculty library, computer rooms, free wireless internet. Accommodation or meals are not included in the fee. Information about accommodation possibilities in Ljubljana can be provided upon request.
Payment
Your payment is due 15 days after the date you register and receive the invoice, otherwise your registration will be cancelled and your details removed from the Summer School programme. Registrations after 10 June 2016 will require full payment within 24 hours.
Your place on the course will not be guaranteed until payment has been received in full. Please allow extra time if paying by bank transfer. Your payment due date can be found on your invoice sent to you after your registration. You can pay by bank transfer. Our bank details are on your invoice. If paying by bank transfer the invoice number must be included in the transaction details.Please allow extra time paying by bank transfer (3-5 working days).
Please do not book or pay for your travel or accommodation until your course/s has/have been confirmed, which happens when the course reaches a sufficient number of registered and paid participants. The deadline for courses to be confirmed is 13 May 2016.
Cancellation policy
In line with EU Distance Selling regulations, there is a 7 day cooling off period following registration during which time you have the right to cancel and receive a full refund of the Summer School fee.
Cancellation/withdrawal from the Summer School after the 7 day cooling off period and before midnight SLO time 30 May 2016 will receive a refund of 50%.
Cancellation/withdrawals received after the 7 day cooling off period and after 1 June 2016 will not be eligible for a refund.
Changing course after registration
Participants who change courses after they have registered will incur a 25 € administration fee. Once you have registered please contact Sabina Otoničar to make any changes.
Terms and Conditions
By Bank Transfer: Please allow extra time if paying by bank transfer (3-5 working days). If paying by bank transfer the invoice number must be included in the transaction details and payment received within 15 days of registering, otherwise registration will be cancelled.
Invoices: Will be send after registration.
Receipts: Once you have registered and paid in full, you will receive the receipt during the Summer School.
Visas/Confirmation of LjMS Participation: Letters confirming participation (e.g. for the purpose of obtaining visas) will only be issued once the participant has registered and paid.
Withdrawal from the Summer School: Participants who withdraw from the Summer School should notify Sabina Otoničar by email as soon as possible.
Certificates for Attendance and Credits: These will be issued after the Summer School.
