Recently concluded projects
In 2017, we successfully concluded several national projects and tenders. Vasja Vehovar, PhD, and Vesna Dolničar, PhD, were leaders of two research projects that started in July 2014 and ended in June 2017, financed by the Slovenian Research Agency.
Vasja Vehovar led the project “Development and evaluation automation of survey questionnaire”. The project provides a breakthrough in integrating ICT into the questionnaire development process. It explores the potential to combine methodological knowledge with machine learning and language technologies to improve questionnaire development and move the entire process from text processors and offline interactions to one integrated web platform.
Vesna Dolničar led the project “Digital inclusion and active ageing: Developing a user-centred methodological approach to investigate the use of mobile phones among older people”. The project was directed towards studying sociotechnical affordances of ATs in mobile phones to foster inclusive and empowered ageing of the heterogeneous group of the elderly.
This year we also conducted a study for Eurostat, “Better data to assess the impact of ICT, R&D and Innovation on the economy”. The project leader was Jernej Berzelak, PhD.
Barbara Brečko, PhD, participated in the evaluation of the self-employment measure of active employment policy in the period 2007-2013. The study was financed by the Ministry of Labour, Family, Social Affairs and Equal Opportunities and led by MK projekt d.o.o.
