Research Centre for the Terminology of Social Sciences and Journalism was established at the Faculty of Social Sciences in 2006 in order to unite researchers of different profiles and backgrounds but with two primary research interests: terminology of social sciences and linguistic and other aspects of modern journalism in Slovenia. Researchers of the center regularly publish their findings and are involved in the teaching process at the university as well as collaborating with different journalistic and other publishing houses. Members of the research centre are mentoring students working on their bachelor's, master's, and PhD degree. Constant collaboration with other faculties in the form of lectures and co-researching has been established for years as well.
