PhD, Assistant Professor of Sinology, Director of Taiwan Study Center, University of Ljubljana, Faculty of Arts, Department of Asian Studies. For her research, she has received a number of scholarships and awards, including the National Sun Yat-sen University award for an outstanding doctoral dissertation. She has presented papers in many national and international conferences worldwide and published various articles on topics related to Taiwan and China studies. Her recent publications include: “New Directions in Taiwan’s Foreign Policy: How Much is New?” In: J. Sullivan and C.Y. Lee (eds.), A new era in democratic Taiwan? Trajectories and turning points in politics and cross-Strait relations (Routledge, UK, 2018); and “Vzhodna Azija: prizorišče kompleksnih varnostnih dilem” (East Asia: A Scene of Complex Security Dilemmas). In: L. Culiberg and M. Petrovčič (eds.), Na stičišču mnogoterih svetov: azijske študije v Sloveniji (Zbirka Razprave FF, ZIFF, Ljubljana, 2016).
