Abstract
As part of the research, the main challenges and obstacles hindering the broader implementation of employee ownership in the Slovenian economy will be identified. Using semi-structured interviews and surveys, opinions will be collected from various stakeholders - employees, employers, and financial institutions - who play a key role in introducing employee ownership. Theoretical foundations for designing the interview questions will be provided by a review of the existing literature on the challenges of expanding employee ownership and successful strategies for overcoming them, while the survey questionnaires will be based both on the literature review and on the findings from the interviews. The collected data will then be analyzed, and concrete recommendations will be prepared based on the results.
