Enrolment in the 2nd year 2024/2025

ENROLMENT PROCEDURE

  1. If you have met the conditions for enrolment in the 2nd year, we will inform you in the Web Office (no later than within 3 days after the grade is registered in the course with which you meet the conditions for enrolment) and prepare an enrolment form for the academic year 2024/25.
  2. With the enrolment form an invoice for the enrolment fee for the academic year 2024/25 will be sent to your e-mail address and also to your Web Office ("Other" button, "Financial situation").
  3.  Fill in the prepared enrolment form in the Web Office (My FDV). You do not need to print, sign, and mail the enrolment form to Student Affairs Office. Complete and save the enrolment form electronically only!
  4. Your enrolment is successfully completed when Student Affairs Office has electronically reviewed your enrolment and completed the enrolment form. You will be notified of this with a special notice. After completing your enrolment, you can print the enrolment certificate yourself in the Web Office (button -Other – confirmations of enrolment). In the same place in My FDV you can also print certificate of completed obligations/Transcript of records.

Before enrolling, carefully read the faculty's website (tab studies / Master's degree, second level):

To view the complete curricula of all courses and timetable, you will need a username and password (see the attached letter regarding digital identity) to enter My FDV on the homepage of the Faculty.

You need to check dates of implementation of elective courses on your timetable and consider the selection of such course so the selected course would not overlap with your compulsory courses. Replacement of elective courses is possible in accordance with the Rules on first and second cycle study (based on the approved application) no later than 5 working days after the beginning of the semester.

ENROLMENT FORM

You can enrol on the home page of the faculty with your username and password to log in My FDV: select the button web office and fill registration form. In the menu, select "Enrolment form’’.

On the enrolment form (button "Online report" and then "enrolment form") you can correct or add the following information:

  • personal data: Address of permanent and temporary residence; contact information (email address, landline and/or cell phone number ... ),
  • Information about possible employment,
  • major subject/module, if your study program provides for it,
  • subjects according to your study plan, and
  • the explicit request whether you would like to receive paid SMS messages.

After you finish your work with Enrolment form (save it in the end), we will check it and complete the enrolment process. When we finish the work, you will be able to print out your confirmation of enrolment from your account at “MY FDV” application (Web Office – Other – Confirmation of enrolment). 

NEW STICKER FOR STUDENTS ID

You may obtain a new student sticker for the academic year 2024/25 at the Student Affairs Office during office hours. 

SPECIAL STATUS

Students who demonstrate special achievement in the areas of athletics, arts and culture, and students with special academic needs may be granted special status in accordance with the Rules for Special Status Students at UL.

The application for special status, with supporting evidence of compliance, is submitted on Web Office ("Other" button, then the "Forms" button and the "Applications" button).

If you already had the status last year, you must renew it. The exception to this is for students with special needs, for whom the status is for the entire term of study. Students who wish to apply for special needs student status should contact the person responsible for students with special needs before submitting the Application on FDV.

VERY IMPORTANT

Enrolment is only possible if all fulfilled obligations are entered into the electronic record. If fulfilled obligations are not entered into the electronic record, it is assumed that the obligation has not been fulfilled! Therefore, please check your data frequently and especially course providers or, if necessary, notify Student Affairs Office of deficiencies, such as assessments that have not been completed.

If you do not enrol by the above deadlines, we will assume that you do not wish to enrol in upper division courses, i.e., that you wish to be without student status in the 2024/25 academic year.

If you do not meet the requirements for advancement to a senior year, during the period September 1-20, 2024, you may:

  • apply to re-enrol in the same year (if you did not exercise the right to re-enrol during enrolment or did not change your program of study),
  • a request to extend your student status for legitimate reasons,
  • application for exceptional (conditional) enrolment in the next year of study.
