European Studies

European Studies is a well established interdisciplinary scientific and research field connecting different humanities and social science disciplines. The main connecting element is a common interest in Europe, European culture and civilisation. The study field is a part of the Interdisciplinary Doctoral Programme in the Humanities and Social Sciences and will be organised and carried out by the Faculty of Arts and the Faculty of Social Sciences of the University of Ljubljana. It is structured around selected social and cultural aspects of European studies, with an emphasis on political, social, geographical, anthropological, ethnological, sociological, artistic and literary studies.
