Objectives and competences
Student awareness about the values of sport and through this influence on the formation of positive attitudes to sport and getting used to a healthy lifestyle. Eliminate and prevent the consequences of lack of movement and concern to improve the mental and physical fitness, health promotion and creative use of free time. Perfecting skills in selected sports.
Content (Syllabus outline)
The content of physical education forms the theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part includes general and special contents: The general part shall be implemented in the form of lectures and includes: basics of the human body, its movement, cardio and respiratory system, psychomotor and functional abilities of man, sports / physical activity as a preventive and curative action for the conservation and consolidation of health, the basics of healthy eating and the regulation of body weight and other medical aspects of sport, methods of verification and assessment of the human psycho-motor and functional abilities. Special part of which is carried out through exercises and is attached to the selected sport and contains: the specificities of each sport and its impact on man, technique, tactics and rules of specific sports, basics of physical and technical tactical preparation in selected sport. The practical part is implemented in the form of regular exercise in selected sports, guided daily activities, preparation and execution of tests of motor and functional abilities. For pre-selected students work carried out in the form of regular training sessions and competitions in the context of inter-faculty and inter-university sports competitions.
Intended learning outcomes:
Knowledge of the theory of active rest, formed a rational and emotional relationship to the physical effort, knowledge of methods for the regeneration of the body, knowledge of the effects of physical activity on overall health, knowledge of healthy eating and the regulation of body weight, knowing the particularities of the most frequent pathologies of the locomotor and cardio system, the conquest of knowledge in selected sports.

Lectures, reading technical tactical assemblies in small groups through exercises, group work, individual work, group and individual consultations, active participation.

Assessment
To obtain a positive final evaluation student must have passed written examination and 75% of the working visit to the exercises. The final assessment consists of the average of the mark for the written examination (50%) and assessment of exercises(50%). In the event that the average of the assessment is between two grades, the final score is rounded in favor of the assessment from the exercises. The assessment exercises are obtained on the basis of active participation and determined effort and knowledge by the student. Evaluation of motor abilities of students on the basis of which is determined by the initial level of work (injury prevention), monitoring and evaluation of progress in the technical and tactical sense in individual sports, evaluation of leading and knowing complex warm-up exercises.
