Objectives and competences
OBJECTIVES: The objectives of the course are to: (a) acknowledge students about the basic issues of world politics; (b) to explain the development of the international society as a precondition for the establishment of the world politics; (c) to develop the diagnostic apparatus for the analysis of the occurrences in the international politics. COMPETENCES Students are able to: (a) understand the basic characteristics of the world politics; (b) understand the basic characteristics of the development of the international community and the world politics; (c) use the analytical apparatus for analysing the occurrences in the international politics.
Content (Syllabus outline)
The course covers the following aspects: -questions related to the world politics; -social, political and economic characteristics of the world politics; -history of the international community and its influence on the occurrences on the world politics; -challenges of the world politics.
Intended learning outcomes:
Expected learning outcomes: -the capability to recognise and describe the characteristics of world politics; -the ability to understand the occurrences in the international politics and world politics; -the analytical competences to analyse and discuss the occurrences in the world politics.
