Utrecht Network Young Researcher’s Grant

The Utrecht Network awards 20 scholarships of € 1200 for short-term research mobility, to students or young researchers who are not eligible for funding from other programmes (such as Erasmus+). The scholarship is intended for research activities in the preparation of a final thesis (which may also include regular lectures) at level II or III of a degree programme. Priority is given to Level III students. Students organise their own mobility at one of the Utrecht Network member universities. The minimum duration of the mobility is 4 weeks. Applications should include:

• Application form located at Young Researchers Grants - Utrecht Network;
• Motivation letter in English;
• Letter of recommendation (from the home professor) in English and
• Certificate of acceptance for the research project (issued by the visiting professor or the visiting university).

Students or young researchers should send the application to the e-mail address urska.ravnik@uni-lj.si and by post to the International Cooperation Office of UL, Kongresni trg 12, 1000 Ljubljana by 14 February 2025. Incomplete applications will not be considered.

The University of Ljubljana may nominate up to three students, and the final selection will be made by the Utrecht Network and the results will be announced on 14.3.2025.
