Training on research ethics and integrity
The Research Ethics and Integrity Unit of the University of Ljubljana provides training on research ethics and integrity for employees of the University of Ljubljana. Co-organised with the Doctoral School, a training aimed specifically at doctoral students and early-career researchers will be held on 6 March 2025 at 1 pm at the University of Ljubljana's Assembly Hall (Zbornična dvorana), Kongresni trg 12, Ljubljana.
The workshop, the main aim of which is to raise awareness and sensitise about ethical and integrity aspects in research organisations as well as to promote responsible research conduct, will provide an overview of the main ethics issues that require some ethical consideration – by the researcher and often also by other bodies – already at the time of preparing (e.g. applying for) research projects. Further, research integrity misconduct will be addressed, in addition to relevant documents (such as codes of ethics, other rules and guidelines) as well as various committees and procedures in this domain, which UL researchers need to be aware of and take into consideration when carrying out their research. Attached, please find the programme of the workshop.
The workshop will take place in person and will be organised in English.
You can register for the workshop HERE until 28 February 2025. Due to space limitations, the first 80 registered applicants will be invited to attend. All other applicants will be placed on a waiting list and will be contacted should a place become available.
We will repeat the workshop if there is enough demand.
