Open Call: Eutopia Doctoral Summer School 3rd Edition

Dear PhD Student,

The 3rd edition of the Eutopia Doctoral Summer School is coming up. 

From 18 to 22 July 2025, we're returning to the Arrábida Convent, to once again experience an immersive and interdisciplinary experience that challenges doctoral students to expand their research horizons.

The Eutopia Doctoral Summer School is a residential programme where, for five days, PhD Students are led to develop a project, accompanied by mentors and keynote speakers, debating a wide range of topics and acquiring new knowledge. In 2024 we had 30 students from 28 diverse fields, 9 different nationalities, 11 schools represented, sharing knowledge and experiences.

Important course details:

Participation costs
- FEE €600

This fee includes for the duration of the Summer School: 
- Lectures content
- Unrestrictive use of the facilities for classes and group work.
- Housing in double-rooms at the Arrábida Convent. There are no single rooms, only doubles
- Full meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner) during the programme.
- Transport to and from the Covent (meeting point at NOVA central office). 
- An award for the final winning project among the groups.
