ESA PhD Summer School 2026

The European Sociological Association is announcing a call for applications for the ESA PhD Summer School 2026, which will take place live in Warsaw from 22 to 24 August 2026, immediately before the 17th ESA Conference.

The summer school is intended for doctoral students and students of sociology and related social sciences enrolled at European universities. The condition for application is membership in the European Sociological Association.

There are 25 places available, and a waiting list of 5 candidates will be formed. The organizer provides accommodation and meals, and travel expenses will be reimbursed up to 350 euros. The deadline for submitting applications is 30 January 2026.

Applications must include a summary of the doctoral research and a short CV and must be submitted exclusively via the ESA ConfTool 2026 platform.
