      Heading Ministry of Education, Science and Sport of the Republic of Slovenia with 350+ employees, responsible for the education system of 30.000+ employees (from kindergartens to primary schools to secondary school and universities), research institutes, Office of the Republic of Slovenia for Youth, UNESCO National Office, etc. Responsible for education, science and sport financial budget of 1,6 billion EUR. Human Resources Management at various levels. Strategic planning and policy (law) formulation in the areas of education, science and sport. Political decision-making. Taking part in various international activities (Council of the EU, OECD, UN, UNESCO General Conference, bilateral international relations).

      Member of the Accreditation Committee of the Capital Assets Management Agency of the Republic of Slovenia. Responsible for human resources management, recruitment and selection of candidates for supervisory boards where Republic of Slovenia has its capital assets.

       

      February 2010 to March 2013: Chairperson of the Programme Council of the RTV Slovenia

      Chairperson of the Programme Council of the public RTV Slovenia, elected by the Parliament of the Republic of Slovenia. RTV Slovenia is a public broadcasting institution and non-profit organisation. It renders public service in the field of radio and television activities in accordance to the RTV Slovenia Act. Chairing Programme Council, which is an oversight body of the public RTV. Programme Council adopts programme standards, programme concepts, programme-production plans and programme outlines based on a proposal from the Director General; deals with viewers and listeners' comments and proposals; gives consent to the statute of the RTVS, an opinion to the proposal of financial plan; appoints and relieves the Director General and provides prior consent as to the appointment and removal of radio and television directors. Responsibilities of the Chairperson include policy formulations, negotiating with political decision-makers, trade unions, strategic oversight, etc.
