The integration of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) into the curricula has led to a growing interest among FSS students in topics related to sustainable development.

The Faculty of Social Sciences, as part of the University of Ljubljana, is an important contributor to the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), including in particular in the field of teaching, where students learn about sustainable development in greater depth at each successive level.

As the largest and most interdisciplinary social sciences faculty in the country, its mission includes all three key aspects of sustainable development: social, economic and environmental.

At two-day international wokshop they presented the diverse current research and stressed the need for more interdisciplinary approaches to contemporary popular culture.
