The course deals with: -main theories of European integration (such as federalism (neo)functionalism and liberal inter-governmental cooperation); - approaches to analysing European governance (governance theory, rational choice and historical institutionalism, social constructivism); - sociological perspectives (gender, discourse, normative theory, critical political economy); -theories of international relations and classical political science theories.
