Short content

The course is aimed at studying the editorial activities, the influence of editorial decisions on the final content and visual appearance of the mass media and different editorial concepts. Different aspects of editorial policies and the creation of the mass media image – visual and content – through decisions taken by sectoral and chief editors of print and electronic media will be presented. Various ways of editorial work will be showed and analyzed. Students will learn about the editorial role in the emergence of mass media, especially within the complete identity and orientation. A particular emphasis will be placed on the relationship between editorial and journalistic creation on the one hand and between the editorial and financial-managerial work on the other. Content and visual aspects of editorial decisions will be analyzed, as well as conducting media, when it comes to the relationship between editorial and advertising content and the position of the editorial staff in relation to the administrative and advertising part of a media house.
