The course is focused on comparison of defence policies and systems of contemporary states. First part of the course is focused on the history of comparative defence studies, theory of convergence and divergence and comparative methodology. The empirical part of the course is focused on describing and exploring defence policies and systems of numerous countries (including Republic of Slovenia) and on their comparison.
