The course deals with the organization and functioning of interest representation/interest groups and the role of lobbying in the policymaking processes. It addresses the following key issues: (1) what are the types of interest representation; (2) why does interest representation involve in the policymaking and implementation processes; (3) how interest representation tries to enforce its interests in policymaking processes?
