Short content

In the introductory part of the course students learn epistemology of theory of operations and the practical doctrinal peculiarities of the coalition, national and UN peace operations, with a particular emphasis on modern operations other than war and counter-insurgency operations. The focus of the practical part is the method of Deliberate Decision Making Process which is a pillar for effective use of all three Armed Forces services (Army, Air Force, Navy). Emphasis is on creating of several variants of solution (Courses of Action), then their sessions through war gaming and commanding and stuff processes in the military; in the assessment of variants for the selection of the most suitable variant multicriteria analysis and the methodology of evaluating the effectiveness of the armed forces in the information age will be used. An integral part of the course is one-sided war game in which students play the role of commander and his staff and resolve cases of conflict situations.
