Short content

The focus of the course is on an analysis of different philosophical, methodological and epistemological disciplinary traditions which all contribute to deeper knowledge of basic themes in the research field of gender studies. The course enables deeper knowledge and application of the specific methods and techniques of research which are internationally accepted as the most appropriate for research into gender: narrative methods (for example biographical method or/and oral history), methods of content analysis, discourse analysis, intersectionality, life course studies, case studies, ethnographical methods, archive material analysis, gender studies in literature, network analysis etc.
