Data mining. CRISP-DM process. Basic data manipulation. Explorative analysis. Basic classifiers: decision trees, CN2 classification rules, na?ve Bayesian classifier, k nearest neighbours method (KNN). Model validation and measures of fit. Linear regression and variable selection. Logistic regression. Construction of new variables, principal components analysis. Support vector machine. Neural networks. Classifier selection and ensemble methods.
