Short content
The aim of the course is to systematically familiarise students with the key strategic issues arrising due to globalisation processes. The course will introduce most recent debates and approaches to globalisation processes and methodologies for researching them (ontological, epistemological). Various theoretical approaches to strategic relations will be discussed, including their critique. In the second part the course will analyse consequences of the globalisation processes (positive and negative) for key contemporary strategic issues (political, economic, cultural, etc). The course will furthermore analyse differences and similarities in various regions of the world in different stages of globalisation processes.
