Short content

The course is focused on several broader topics of electoral studies: role and importance of elections in different representative bodies as well as referenda; regulation and integrity of elections as well as regulation of procedures and citizens' rights, connected with elections; development and characteristics of voting behavior theories and political participation theories; importance of regulation of elections for activities of different actors; activity of actors (in particular, political parties) in pre-election processes as well as election processes together with their determinants (for example, candidate selection, characteristics of election campaigns). Special attention is paid to these topics in Slovenia.
