Short content
History and political mediations of contemporary discipline. Comparativeness from Plato through most important classics to contemporary criteria and typologies. Methods on the field of comparative political systems. Introduction to main characteristics of most important political systems: USA, Germany, France, Great Britain, India, China, Japan, Iran. Separation of powers. Parliamentarism, presidentalism, monarchies. Totalitarian, authoritarian, democratic political systems. Types of opposition in political systems. Legitimacy, legality. Political culture in political systems. Types of political system according to political doctrines: socialism, communism, liberalism, Nazism, fascism; types of legitimacy (theocratic, military, nation), types of interest organizations (corporative, pluralistic, clientelistic, trade unionistic).Federations, confederations, unions, unitary states. Criteria for stability. Bartelson index of comparation of political systems. Changing political systems. Comparative policies.
