Basics of network theory: degree, density, walks, paths, shortest paths, distance, diameter; cluster, partition, connectivity, components, cliques, cores; centrality and prestige, network centralization; cohesion, communities.Signed networks, Two mode networks, Blockmodeling: equivalences, blockmodels; indirect (hierarchical clustering) and direct blockmodeling; generalized blockmodeling; standard blockmodels (center-periphery, hierarchy), Community detection methods.
