Short content

The aim of the course is to systematically familiarise students with contemporary issues of globalisation. The course will introduce recent debates and approaches to globalisation processes. In doing so definitions, histories, measurements, chronologies and explanations of globalisation will be discussed. At the end of the course students should be able to evaluate contending accounts of globalisation, the role of the state, evolving concept of governance and crisis of globalisation.
