The course will pay particular attention to the following topics: - The general analysis of the basic theoretical and conceptual orientations in sociology of sport - Analysis of the basic binary distinctions that define the relationship between society and sport (sport/game, professionalism/amateurism, mass/individual sports, etc.). - Identifying and understanding the impact that sport and sport activities has on the quality of life in modern societies
