Short content
The course focuses firstly on the key terms, such as threats, risks, intelligence, counter-intelligence, intelligence system, intelligence cycle and intelligence community.
Theoretical and conceptual part of the course is focused on the history of intelligence, intelligence disciplines, types of intelligence data, collection methods, assessment methods, technical collection systems, sending the intelligence products to users, counter-intelligence protection and secret data protection, cryptography, secret operations, international intelligence cooperation, control over intelligence services, etc. Special focus is devoted to the economic intelligence.
The second part of the course is focused on individual national intelligence systems, individual known intelligence operations, intelligence within NATO, EU and international military operations. Special attention is devoted also to military intelligence and intelligence scandals.
