Visiting lectures by prof. Annette Freyberg-Inan from the University of Amsterdam
From 2 to 11 November 2016, the Chair of International Relations at the Faculty of Social Sciences hosted Dr. Annette Freyberg-Inan from the Department of Political Science at the University of Amsterdam, the Netherlands. She is a regular guest lecturer within the course titled Research Seminar in International Relations, which is an obligatory course of the Postgraduate Programme of International Relations (main lecturer: Prof. Petra Roter).
Professor Freyberg-Inan completed her PhD in Political Science at the University of Georgia, USA. Her MA degrees in Political Science and English were obtained at the University of Stuttgart in Germany. She is an Associate Professor and teaches in the fields of International/World Politics, European Politics, Political Theory, Political Psychology, and Social Science Methodology. Her research interests focus on the theoretical and normative aspects of International Relations and International Political Economy, European integration and EU enlargement, and transitions in post-communist Europe and Turkey. Before joining the University of Amsterdam, she worked in Bucharest, Romania as a Visiting Faculty Fellow for the Civic Education Project (CEP) and Consultant for the United Nations Resident Coordinator System in Romania.
