  • Maša Filipovič Hrast is Associate Professor at the Faculty of Social Sciences. Her research interests include: the welfare state, the situation of vulnerable social groups (the poor, the homeless, the elderly), issues of social cohesion and social inclusion, social and housing policy. She has been a member of international networks such as the Miles- Norface network (2007-2008); the European Homelessness Observatory (2005-2008, 2014) and the European Network of Experts on Gender, Social Inclusion, Health and Long Term Care (2008-2011), and the European Observatory on Homelessness (2022-). She has led the national reserach project Homelessness in Slovenia (2020-2023), and participated as national leader in international consortia such as Our children's Europe - Wefare states future (NORFACE) (2015-2018), Greent transition attitudes (WEAVE) (2024-2027).
