Centre for Welfare Studies

  • Centre for Welfare Studies

Centre for welfare studies (CDB) hosts researchers studying issues in quality of life and welfare, including:

- housing and homelessness,

- community,

- support networks and the related methodological advancement,

- intergenerational solidarity and the flow of welfare resources,

- old age care,

- poverty,

- demographic ageing and

- cross-national comparisons.

Our research ranges from basic research to applied and policy oriented studies (such as Slovenian Housing Survey 2005), as well as from partnership in large European research projects to local commissioned studies (such as Improving the provision of non- profit housing in Ljubljana 2012).
