About journal

The editorial board accepts publications of original articles, review articles and book reviews of currently published books and monographs. Part of the board’s effort is also dedicated to the preparation of special issues edited by guest editors. At least twice a year the journal is published in the English language. The editorial policy of Teorija in praksa is to support and stimulate interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary approaches in researching social phenomena and seeking ways to establish an alliance with other social sciences and humanities.

Articles published in the journal analyse various theoretical and methodological issues of the social sciences. Current social problems and the dilemmas of modern society are discussed. Particular attention is given to the development of terminology, specifically for those social sciences introduced to Slovenian universities in the second half of the 20th century. By publishing the latest research findings, Teorija in praksa successfully maintains a platform for the fruitful debate of eminent social and humanist scholars, and offers a rich archive for students as well.
