Round table discussion »The Taiwan model for pandemic management and lessons for Slovenia«

Taiwan has long been hailed as a model democracy, and since very recently, Taiwan has also become a role model for pandemic management. Taiwan’s name has appeared in headlines around the world not only for its democratic values but also for its remarkable success in fighting the coronavirus.

What can we learn from the Taiwanese approach? The round table, organised by the Taiwan Study Center and the East Asian Resource Library, on the topic of »The Taiwan model for pandemic management and lessons for Slovenia« will address the lessons to be learned from Taiwanese response to the virus outbreak and the ways the crisis affected the international community’s perceptions toward Taiwan and its surrounding region.
