Japan Foundation open opportunities: lecture by Ms Sanae Tada at East Asia Resource Library


 

On Monday, 21 October 2019, EARL hosted Ms Sanae Tada, Director of the Japan Foundation's Budapest division, who presented Japan Foundation's activities and opportunities that it offers to students, lecturers, researchers and artists.

 

Ms Tada highlighted the organizational structure of the Japan Foundation as a whole and its, as well as its branch in Budapest. This was followed by the presentation of current activities and opportunities within the Japan Foundation that include opportunities for student exchanges, research, study and arts scholarships, as well as workshops in the fields of Japanese studies, Social Sciences, Humanities and Arts. The Japan Foundation is the only Japanese institution dedicated to implementing comprehensive cultural exchange programs worldwide. It is also one of the organizations that supports the operation of EARL – East Asia Resource Library, created by the Faculty of Social Sciences and the Faculty of Arts, University of Ljubljana.
