EARL receives financial support from the Japan Foundation

On 19 April East Asia Resource Library received a visit by the members of the Japanese Embassy in Slovenia, Mr. Kenji Shimazu and Mr. Matej Črnjavič. They were met by representatives of the EARL, Ms Mirjam Kotar, MSc, and Professor Zlatko Šabič. 

The purpose of the visit was to present, in person, the EARL with the information about its successful application for a financial support from the Japan Foundation. This support will allow for a continuing availability of the digital database JapanKnowledgeLip for free to all users, and further purchase of Japanese books to enrich the library and make it even more attractive for those wishing to learn and know more about Japan. 
In a special letter of thanks to the Japan Foundation, representatives of the EARL have pointed out that this grant is regarded as an immense responsibility to continue to meet high standards from the Foundation to make sure that the usage of the grant represents an added value in Foundation's pursuit of its mission.
