Predavanje o e-učenju

Na Fakulteti za družbene vede je 19.12.2013 Katedra za družboslovno informatiko in metodologijo gostila red. prof. dr. Mirjano Ivanović iz Nove Sada. Predstavila je svoje izkušnje in raziskovanje s področja e-učenja.

Abstract: Presentation will be devoted to different TEL tools, systems and approaches which could be applied and used in educational processes at the university level.

During the last decade several educational tools have been developed and successfully used at the University of Novi Sad. The speaker is going to present their experience with:

• Tutoring system which supports Learning styles, Tagging and Recommendations in order to support personalization, ontologies. Particularly systems for teaching Java have been realized.

• Submission system devoted to submission of students’ programs/code. It has been used in everyday practice and applied for different programming courses.

• Separate components for Moodle system have been realized to support: Adaptive courses, forming teams for teamwork projects.

In the last years attention has been devoted to study the effect of these tools in order to improve educational activities and teaching practices. Survey implemented covered several educational aspects and issues of interest: gender influences on studying computer science, usability and privacy aspects of Moodle: students' and teachers' perspective, Wiki as a tool of choice for students’ team assignments, experiences regarding the implementation of Web 2.0 concept in several Computer Ethics related courses, usage of technology enhanced educational tools for delivering programming courses.
