PhD scholarship in Privacy Data Practices, University of Copenhagen

The Department of Information Studies, University of Copenhagen, Denmark, invites applications for a 3-year fully funded PhD scholarship in privacy data practices. The candidate is expected to begin on January 1, 2019 or as soon as possible thereafter.

The successful candidate will become a member of the research project "'Don't Take it Personal'- Privacy and information in an algorithmic age", funded by Independent Research Fund Denmark. Applicants are requested to situate their proposed PhD project both within the research project's overall research question, and within one or more of the following work packages: II (Privacy), III (Users), IV (Platform providers). It is expected that the candidate will formulate an independent PhD project that contributes the "Don't Take it Personal" project's goals and aims.
