Syracuse University's School of Information Studies welcomes applicants for our Ph.D. program.

We are looking for students with a background in sociology, anthropology, or communication, who would be interested in studying some of these topics by doing a PhD at the Department of Sociology at The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK).

Na Fakulteti za družbene vede je v četrtek, 23. 11. 2017, potekal otvoritveni dogodek evropskega projekta Odklikni! Ustavi spletno nasilje nad ženskami in dekleti (angl. Click-off! Stop cyber violence against women and girls).

V četrtek, 23. novembra, je v oddaji Frekvenca X na Val 202, ki se posveča temam moderne znanosti, gostoval član Centra za metodologijo in informatiko doc. dr. Luka Kronegger.

This conference promises to provide a dynamic forum for education and networking between leading luminaries from the hedge fund and private equity industries and the brightest students, from undergraduates to PhD candidates, who travel from as far afield as China and California to attend the conference. Students will emerge from this unique two-day conference with an understanding of and an excitement about the hedge fund and private equity industries. We hope to offer an exceptional educational and networking experience with the idea that, as the next generation of business leaders, this conference can be a positive force in shaping future careers in this industry.

We are happy to announce that the third SERISS training course “Measurement quality and correction for measurement error” will be held on 26-27 February 2018 in Ljubljana, Slovenia. The course will be instructed by: Diana Zavala-Rojas and Wiebke Weber from Research and Expertise Centre for Survey Methodology (RECSM), Universitat Pompeu Fabra, Barcelona, Spain.
