Understanding Migration and Asylum in the European Union
Is there a migration crisis in Europe? How can the European Union’s migration system improve? How ready are EU member states to adequately receive individuals & families transferred from one state to the other under the Dublin regime?
In this occasion, EIUC have launched a new training seminar on Asylum named “Dublin III, two years on. Asylum seekers and refugees in the EU and beyond”. The aim of the training is to provide participants with tools for better understanding and use of the Dublin III regulation and of the other relevant international and European legal instruments governing this highly sensitive policy area.
The training seminar on “Dublin III, two years on. Asylum seekers and refugees in the EU and beyond” will take place in Venice, Lido, 19 – 21 June 2015.

Its international faculty includes prestigious lectures in human rights, such as Paolo De Stefani, researcher and aggregate professor on international law at the School of Economics and of Political Science, University of Padua, Kristina Touzenis, Programme Manager at IOM, and, Lorenzo Trucco, President and co-founder of A.S.G.I, the Association for Legal Studies on Immigration.
