Študentska konferenca o MO 2024

9. in 10 maja 2024 je na Fakulteti za družbene vede Univerze v Ljubljani  potekala 4. študentska konferenca  o mednarodnih odnosih. Konference se je udeležilo 30 študentov, 19 študentov dodiplomskega študija, 11 študentov magistrskega študija, in 16 članov akademskega odbora. Poleg študentov Fakultete za družbene vede Univerze v Ljubljani je ostalih 60 udeležencev članov 15 univerz, to so: Jagiellonska univerza v Krakovu, Mednarodna univerza Burch v Sarajevu, Univerza Andrassy v Budimpešti, University College London, Univerza Cirila in Metoda Skopje, Univerza Dokuz Eylul v Izmirju, Univerza v Beogradu, Univerza v Gradcu, Univerza v Leidnu, Univerza v Ljubljani – Ekonomska Fakulteta, Univerza v Passauu, Univerza v Salentu, Univerza v Sarajevu, Univerza v Trstu, Univerza v Varšavi in Univerza v Zagrebu.

Študentske konference so se letos udeleži tudi člani in članice Diplomatskega kluba Fakultete za politične vede Univerze v Zagrebu in študenti uredniškega odbora revije Sconfinare, revije študentov Mednarodnih in diplomatskih študij Univerze v Trstu, kampusa v Gorici. Prav tako je kot častni gost konferenco obiskal Peter Grk, generalni sekretar Blejskega strateškega foruma in nacionalni koordinator za Zahodni Balkan na Ministrstvu za zunanje in evropske zadeve. 

Konferenca je že četrto leto služila kot priložnost za pridobivanje izkušenj na področju strokovnega in znanstveno-raziskovalnega dela, ter za popularizacijo področij MO in evropske študije z vidika znanosti in stroke. Udeleženci so predstavili prispevke v naslednjih tematskih sklopih: Evropska integracija, Evropska unija kot globalni akter, O suverenosti, Združeni narodi, Mednarodno varstvo okolja, Izzivi Zahodnega Balkana in Zunanja politika.

Konferenco so podprli: Fakulteta za družbene vede Univerze v Ljubljani, Katedra za mednarodne odnose, magistrski programi Mednarodni odnosi, Evropske študije in Obramboslovje ter študentsko društvo za mednarodne odnose Globallis.

Povzetki študentskih esejev, predstavljenih na konferenci, bodo od avgusta 2024 na voljo tukaj.

Razpis za prijavo 2025 bo objavljen oktobra 2024.

Študentska konferenca MO 2024_povzetki

On May 9th and 10^th 2024, the Faculty of Social Sciences at the University of Ljubljana hosted the 4th Student Conference on International Relations. The conference was attended by 30 students: 19 undergraduate students, 11 Master's students, and 16 academic board members. Besides the students from the Faculty of Social Sciences at the University of Ljubljana, the remaining 60 participants came from 15 universities: Andrassy University in Budapest, Dokuz Eylul University in Izmir, International Burch University in Sarajevo, Jagiellonian University in Krakow, Leiden University, Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje, University of Belgrade, University of Graz, University of Ljubljana – School of Economics and Busniess, University College London, University of Passau, University of Salento, University of Sarajevo, University of Trieste, University of Warsaw, and University of Zagreb.

Conference Programme

This year, members of the Diplomatic Club of the Faculty of Political Science at the University of Zagreb and student members of Sconfinare, the magazine of students of International and Diplomatic Sciences at the University of Trieste, also participated. Additionally, Peter Grk, Secretary General of the Bled Strategic Forum and National Coordinator for the Western Balkans at the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs, attended the conference as a guest of honour.

For the fourth year in a row, the conference has served as an outlet to offer students the opportunity to gain experience in the field of professional and scientific research work and to promote the scientific and professional fields of IR and European Studies. The participants presented papers in the following thematic clusters: European integration; European Union as a Global Actor; On sovereignty; The United Nations; International environmental protection; Challenges in the Western Balkans and Foreign Policy. 

The Student Conference has been supported by the University of Ljubljana Faculty of Social Sciences, Chair of International Relations, the Master's Programmes in International Relations, European Studies and Defence Studies, and the Student Association for International Relations Globallis.

Call for papers 2025 will be published in October 2024.
