Master of European Studies

Studying Europe is an excellent foundation for a career in the international field. In this interdisciplinary programme we combine variety of different teaching methods to stimulate critical and creative thinking, reframing of issues and problem-solving. The intercultural experience of the EU and students with different cultural and educational backgrounds offer unique learning environment and formation of multicultural teams.

The programme integrates disciplines of Political Science, Economics, Law and International Relations with their application to central issues of European integration.

The learning objectives of the European studies programme include Experience of multicultural environment and complex process of economic integration develop an understanding of matters that affect sustainable economic, social and political environment and understand the challenges of EU policies.

General competences

Programme provides students with strong conceptual overview of the actors, structures and processes in the EU. Elective courses further provide an opportunity for the in-depth study of specific European issues, policymaking and policies. The graduates master internal economic, legal and political environment of the EU as well as on the EU’s global role. Graduates of this programme have general knowledge and skills of social scientific research, with accent on methods for analysing the European political and economic integration. conceptual basics and methodological approaches and an excellent understanding of individual problem areas and political process related to the solving of those issues.
