Martens Summer School on International Law, 26-31 July 2015, Parnu, ESTONIA
The 4th
Martens Summer School on International Law will take place in Pärnu, Estonia, on 26-31 July 2015. It is organized by the University of Tartu and its focus is on comparative international law, particularly international legal developments in Russia, Ukraine and, more generally, the Eurasian region.
We encourage applying graduate and post-graduate students of law, international relations and history who already have basic knowledge of international law and who are also specifically interested in legal-political developments in Russia and the CIS countries. Practitioners from ministries, think tanks, NGOs, etc in these areas are also encouraged to apply.
In 2015, Professors will be Kirill Koroteev (Moscow), Alexander Trunk (Kiel), Marina Trunk-Fedorova (Kiel), Ineta Ziemele (Riga) and the course director Lauri Mälksoo (Tartu).
There is no tuition fee. The participants are responsible for their own travel and stay expenses. The accommodation is organized in a hotel for all participants, for a fee of 195 EUR covering 5 nights.
