Call for Application for the Double Degree Master Programme in Social Informatics (Faculty of Social Sciences, University of Ljubljana) and Sociology and Territorial Policy (University of Salerno) in the academic year 2023/2024

The double degree programme is a combined programme that enables master students to graduate with two degrees – one in Social Informatics and another in Sociology and Policies for the Territory. It allows students to double-count some credits, shortening the completion time for both programmes. After successfully completing the master’s programmes of both participating universities, candidates acquire two diplomas: Master in Social Informatics at the Faculty of Social Sciences of the University of Ljubljana (FSS-UL) and Laurea magistrale and sociologia e politiche per il territorio at the University of Salerno (UNISA).

This double degree programme is a two-year programme that takes place in the first year of the master's programme in Social Informatics at FSS-UL where students obtain 60 ECTS. In the second year students study at UNISA and obtain 30 ECTS or 60 ECTS, if they decide to get a master's thesis at UNISA. Students obtain 30 ECTS credits from the courses offered at UNISA. If students choose to write a master's thesis at UNISA, they obtain additional 30 ECTS credits for the master's thesis.

Students shall also be enrolled regularly at UNISA in their 2nd year of studies. Students complete the enrolment procedure in accordance with the requirements and rules of UNISA, and shall provide the necessary supporting documents to UNISA. They are exempt from tuition fees, and pay only the enrolment costs.

For the studies at UNISA, students can obtain a grant under the Erasmus+ programme .
