Cultural Studies Oscars Without a Red Carpet: Fusnota #3

At the beginning of October, the Academic Reading Room of Aleš Debeljak hosted the third Fusnota – an event celebrating and awarding outstanding student achievements from the previous academic year. Creativity, humour, and excitement filled the room from start to finish. The jury, composed of Prof. Ksenija Šabec, Prof. Peter Stanković, Zala Julija Kavčič, Eva Rogl Mežnar, and Asst. Teja Kosi, faced the difficult task of selecting the best works from 61 nominations across 11 categories. The evening, moderated by Gaia Merlak Gnamuš and Prof. Jernej Kaluža, concluded with the traditional freshman party organised by the student association Kult.co.

New research project on the music market in Slovenia launched at the CCRS!

We are pleased to announce that the Center for Cultural and Religious Studies at the Faculty of Social Sciences has been awarded a 2-year grant for the targeted research project entitled Slovenian Music between the Market, Audience, and Cultural Policy: An Empirical Analysis of the Music Ecosystem.
