Power, Platforms and Peripheries: Popular Music in Central, Eastern and Southeastern Europe, IASPM CESE 2nd international conference, 1–3 April 2027, Faculty of Social Sciences, Ljubljana, Slovenia.

Visitors to the stand learned about the results and methods of cultural research and publications of the FDV publishing house, took part in a cultural quiz, or played a utopian board game created by our students.

The new issue of Theory and Practice includes a thematic section on the culturology of comics.

On Monday, 11 May 2026, as part of the postgraduate course Retro and Cultures of Memory, we went on an excursion to the “post-European Capital of Culture” city of Nova Gorica.

On Tuesday, March 24th at 4:15 PM, we will host lecturers Maja Manojlović (UCLA) and Luka Arsenjuk (University of Maryland). The lectures, which will be held in English, raise questions about the transformation of sensory experience and the status of the film image in times of environmental, technological and social upheavals.
