Web Survey Day 2017

Since 2012, members of CSI have organised the Web Survey Day event that has over 200 attendees each year. The target audience is the professional public as well as other web survey users who are interested in advances and trends in the field of web survey methodology.

This year’s event was held on 21 September 2017 at the University of Ljubljana Faculty of Social Sciences. The main topics were global trends in online surveys and the tenth anniversary of the development of 1KA - OneClickSurvey.

The event was divided into three sections comprising interactive seminars. The first section, titled “Preliminary pairing with 1KA tool” was divided into two seminars: “Systematic overview of key functionalities” (Gregor Čehovin and Miha Matjašič) for non-users of 1KA and “New and advanced functionalities” (Marjana Vrh and Katja Zrim) for users of 1KA and visitors to the past events.

The second section was a central methodological lecture, where Vasja Vehovar, PhD, presented trends in online surveying and ten years of 1KA development.

In the third section, four seminars were carried out. Barbara Brečko, PhD, and Robert Šmalc presented evaluations of pedagogical work in primary and high schools and Vasja Vehovar, PhD, presented evaluations of pedagogical work in the higher education system. Peter Hrvatin and Miha Matjašič presented the instalment and integration of 1KA, API and business adaptions of 1KA.
