Visiting lecture of Sabine Henning, Ph.D. on Geoinformatics


From 19th to 23th October 2015 the University of Ljubljana Faculty of Social Sciences, (Chair of Social Informatics and Methodology) hosted the lecturer Sabine Henning, Ph.D. from the University of Salzburg. Within the course New technologies in social science research the lecture and workshop on geoinformatics were conducted.

Sabine Henning graduated in Geography and is holding a Ph.D. in Applied Geography and Geoinformatics. She is working as senior scientist at the Faculty of Geoinformatics - Z_GIS, University of Salzburg  (www.zgis.at/research). Her research interests include the use of GI tools (e.g. PP GIS, VGI, map based questionnaires) in public participation, participatory planning and design.
